Dear Baltimore Wine Fest Guests,
I want to thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
B Scene Events has been producing events for the past seven years and we absolutely love what we do! Over the years, the festivals have grown and my family and the b Scene team look forward to each and every one.
This pandemic has been incredibly challenging for our world. Small businesses are working harder than ever to overcome the challenges we are facing and survive this pandemic.
My biggest fear used to be rain on the day of an event. After all we have been through, I truly believe everyone would be happy to dance in the rain at a wine festival if it meant we could gather safely surrounded by friendly faces.
When I realized that the wine fest would need to be postponed, it was overwhelming. I drafted several mass emails, but in the end I decided not to send one. All of our guests deserve more than an email as you are the reason the events have grown year after year.
I didn’t realize how long it would take to make 586 calls and apologize not being able to reach everyone faster, but I am so glad I decided to do it. Talking to all of you reminded me just how much everyone loves our festivals. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing all of your stories – first dates that lead to marriage, family reunions, birthday celebrations, bachelorette parties, and many more. A few even have their wine fest outfits picked out ready to go!
After speaking with everyone, I realized that while my team does a phenomenal job organizing the events, it is the guests who create the nice vibe that we have at each festival. I am grateful for your kindness, understanding, and support now more than ever.
As you know, we have postponed the festival to September 19, 2020 and are hopeful that we will be able to gather safely at that time. Safety is absolutely our top priority.
If there is any silver lining, I do believe that festivals will be even more meaningful and everyone expressed how excited they are to know that the festival will still take place.
I am hopeful everyone stays safe and will send out event updates as soon as they become available. If you are looking to check in or have a question, I am available anytime and can be reached via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or cell phone (410) 409-7123.
